Bennett and Game are working alongside a successful business in the signage industry, they are looking to expand their team by adding a Production Manager to the business. The role is based in Ashford and onsite.

The role involves liaising with the Purchasing Manager, Head of Projects and Operations and all department supervisors to ensure all projects are completed on time, in line with the schedule, while also monitoring quality of each element produced.

Job Requirements

  • Staff management: Assess overtime levels and report back to Senior Management
  • Assist Head of Projects and Operations with the implementation of the Production Schedule and then once up and running, oversee this.
  • Ensure timesheets are completed for all jobs and update the standard hours spreadsheet accordingly.
  • Ensure quality standards and processes are always met & used.
  • Chair twice weekly Production Meetings and then distribute meeting minutes
  • Investigate non-conformance forms and then report back to Head of Projects and Operations with your findings.
  • Overseeing all members of Production and being the first point of contact for issues and questions for you to then escalate as appropriate
  • Be the first point of contact for the engineers when they have product related issues on site (not site related issues)
  • Manage PPE for Production
  • Coding - Every steelwork item needs to be coded.
  • Delivery Schedule - populate delivery schedule and liaise with delivery driver.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 per year (depending on experience)
  • Monday to Friday - 8am - 4.30pm
