Senior Accountant Job Overview
- As a Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of managing client portfolios, this is a mixture of small to medium-sized businesses and high-net-worth individuals
- Your daily role will include supervising junior staff, reviewing their work and making any necessary adjustments
- providing strategic financial advice to your dedicated portfolio
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements to the highest standards.
- Preparing self-assessment tax returns
- Advise and assist clients with cloud based bookkeeping software
- Mentor and develop junior members of staff
Senior Accountant Job Requirements
- ACA / ACCA finalist or qualified
- 5 years + experience in a UK accountancy firm
- Proven expertise in accounting, tax, and financial reporting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in cloud based accounting software
- £32,000 - £40,000 dependant on skills and experience
- 25 days +
