Job Description Job Title: CNC Turner & Programmer Salary: £50,654- £57,319 per annum including late-shift premium CNC Turner & Programmer required for a well-established precision engineering company based in Leighton Buzzard. The successful candidate will need to be able to write new CNC programs from scratch with little or no supervision. CNC Turner & Programmer Essential Experience Proven experience programming, setting and operating 2-axis CNC turning machines Strong working knowledge of G-code programming. Confident completing the full machine set-up from engineering drawing to finished component, including material, tooling, speeds, feeds and cutting conditions. Able to edit and optimise existing programs where required. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, geometric tolerances, surface finishes and in-process inspection. Hoist training is provided. CNC Turner & Programmer Remuneration ~ Salary- £50,654-£57,319 per annum including late-shift premium ~ Monday-Wednesday 4.30 pm-3.30 am; Late-shift premium paid at time plus one third. ~28 days holiday including Bank Holidays, plus additional Christmas shutdown holiday. ~ Pension scheme & healthcare scheme.
