We're working with a well-established logistics and warehousing operation seeking a hands-on Fleet Compliance Manager to take ownership of fleet, safety and compliance across a fast-paced environment. You will act as the named Transport Manager, ensuring full compliance with Operator Licence undertakings and DVSA requirements, while overseeing fleet compliance and supporting Health Safety across transport and warehouse operations.

Job Overview

  • Act as named Transport Manager, ensuring full DVSA and Operator Licence compliance
  • Oversee fleet maintenance, roadworthiness, PMI schedules and defect management
  • Monitor OCRS, MOT performance and driver/tachograph compliance
  • Manage fleet systems (e.g. TruTac, Microlise) and control fleet costs
  • Respond to out-of-hours fleet issues when required

Health Safety / Compliance

  • Maintain H S systems across transport and warehouse operations
  • Ensure compliance with key legislation (HASAWA, RIDDOR, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH)
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Maintain RAMS, SOPs and safety documentation
