Required for our client based in their office in Essex. Our client is a leading Crane supplier to the UK for the Construction and Civil Engineering industry. The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic partnerships and expanding market presence for the company around sales, rental and service organisation.
Job Overview
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and maintaining long-term partnerships.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our industrial tunnelling fans.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for industrial tunnelling fan rentals.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate pricing, invoicing, and timely collection of payments.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of crane hire or plant hire experience is a must.
- Proven experience in business development, sales or account management within construction or related industries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, engineering, or a related field would be beneficial.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Analytical skills to gather market intelligence and identify business opportunities.
- Lift planning experience or Appointed Person credentials will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
