Job Description

Electrician Overview

We are representing a leading industrial M&E company based in Portsmouth, seeking an experienced Electrician with strong Industrial experience to join their mobile engineering team. The role involves electrical installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance on Royal Navy sites, MoD facilities, and naval bases across the South of England. Portsmouth – Southampton

Electrician Key Duties

  • Electrical installation, maintenance, and inspection in hazardous (ATEX) environments
  • Work from drawings and technical documents
  • Perform tasks under own supervision
  • Travel to secure client sites with occasional overnight stays

Electrician Requirements

  • Completed electrical apprenticeship
  • CompEx 1-4 (essential)
  • 18th Edition (C&G 2382-18)
  • Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391)
  • 1 year ATEX experience
  • Eligible for SC and DV clearance (desirable)
  • Willingness to travel and work away when needed (Essential)

Electrician Package

  • £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (DOE)
