Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer

Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Engineer required. Bennett and Game Recruitment are representing a world leader in the design, engineering and delivery of turnkey projects to the industrial gases sector who are currently recruiting for an EC&I Engineer within a commutable distance of Godalming. The ideal candidate will come from an Electrical & Control background, have HAZOP & LOPA experience, capability in Design and implementation of instrumentation systems and will be based within a commutable distance of Godalming.

Position Overview

1. Identifying Electrical and Control equipment and hardware based on project specifications
2. Designing detailed electrical and Control systems
3. Taking part in HAZOP/LOPA studies, risk assessments and evaluating plant protection systems’ integrity
4. Conducting Factory and Site acceptance tests
5. Leading Pre-commissioning tests and final plant start up

Position Requirements

1. At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
2. Proven capability in the design, implementation and management of Electrical and Instrumentation systems
3. Experience participating in HAZOP/LOPE studies & Risk assessments
4. Familiar with the Procurement and installation of Electrical and Control equipment
5. Generating and evaluating E&I installation tender packages
6. Full Driving licence
7. Based within a commutable distance of Godalming

Position Remuneration

Salary £40,000 – £50,000 DOE
Performance Bonus
Monday – Friday: 9:00 – 16:00
Business mileage paid
33 Days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
