Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in the Thame, Oxfordshire area, who due to ongoing success are seeking an enthusiastic Design Engineer to join their R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical mechanical design projects, using Solidworks and AutoCAD.
Position Overview:
- Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Solidworks and AutoCAD for producing Electrical and Mechanical design requirements for products
- Working closely with procurement and production to support sourcing and quality control
- Supporting product development and innovation, including utilising a 3D printer and external suppliers
- Collaborating with the design team to contribute solutions and bespoke designs for customers' requirements
Position Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience within an Electrical or Mechanical Design Engineering role
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Design related subject is desirable
- Based in a commutable distance of Thame, Oxfordshire
- Proficient with the use of 3D modelling software, ideally Solidworks
