Position: CNC Turner Location: Warminster, Wiltshire Salary: Up to £42,000 - Dependent on Experience We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Warminster. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team of approximately 15 employees, manufacturing high-precision components for a diverse range of industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, producing high-quality precision-engineered components to exact customer specifications. The role offers the opportunity to work with modern twin-spindle, Y-axis machinery and utilise both online and offline programming techniques. Experience within aerospace manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential. Job Overview Programme, set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision-engineered components Produce accurate, high-quality components to engineering drawings and customer specifications Create new CNC programmes from customer drawings Plan production methods, selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures and machining strategies Carry out online and offline programming using Fanuc controls Make offsets and minor programme adjustments to maintain component quality and optimise production Programme and set machines to achieve efficient cycle times and maximise productivity Manufacture and modify jigs and fixtures where required Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation Machine a variety of metals to tight tolerances Inspect and measure components throughout production to ensure quality standards xdjnayx are maintained Work to production schedules and agreed deadlines Operate manual workshop machinery when required Adhere to AS9100 quality procedures and company manufacturing standards Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment Work effectively both independently and as part of the engineering team Requirements Minimum 3 years' CNC machining experience Proven ability to programme, set and operate CNC lathes Experience using Fanuc Please click on the apply button to read the full job description
