Our client is a specialist UK manufacturer with over 20 years' experience designing and producing bespoke products for the construction sector. Due to continued growth and the expansion of a new furniture range, they are looking to recruit a skilled Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with a background in manufacturing or production joinery rather than traditional site carpentry.
The successful candidate will be involved in the manufacture of high-quality furniture products from technical drawings through to final assembly, working closely with design and production teams.
Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner Position Overview:
- Manufacture bespoke and batch-produced wooden furniture to a high standard.
- Interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
- Work from CAD drawings and liaise with design teams where required.
- Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Assemble, fit and finish furniture products ensuring excellent quality standards.
- Assist with prototype development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
