Solar PV Installer opportunity available with our client, a renewable energy contractor based in Surrey who specialise in the installation of solar PV systems, heat pumps, electric vehicle charging units, and battery storage systems within domestic properties.
Job Overview
- Working on the roof-based installations of domestic solar PV systems alongside Electricians and labourers
- Managing the project completion from roof preparation/mounting system layout, through to panel placement and client handover
- Travelling to domestic sites across Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, and surrounding areas
- Taking responsibility for health and safety requirements on site
Job Requirements
- Experienced in completing domestic solar PV installations
- Confident in leading small teams on roof-based projects, including a strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- Background in either roofing or electrical work
- Any electrical or solar-specific tickets such as NVQ Level 3 or C&G 2399 are highly desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary £35,000 - £42,000, negotiable depending on experience
- Company van
- 37.5 hour working week
- 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
- Company pension provided (initial 5% employer contribution)
