Our client, a specialist building envelope contractor with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a BIM Modeller to join their design team. Based in their Darlington office, this role will support the production and coordination of detailed BIM models for roofing, cladding, and façade projects across commercial and specialist construction sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable BIM professional to contribute to industry-leading projects and develop within an established, award-winning business.

BIM Modeller - Benefits
  • Salary: £35k - £45k - Dependent on experience
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm, Friday: 8am - 4pm

BIM Modeller - Role Overview
  • Create and manage detailed BIM models for roofing, cladding, and façade systems using Revit and Navisworks
  • Assist in the coordination and integration of architectural, structural, and MEP models
  • Support project teams with accurate 3D and 2D design data for fabrication and installation
  • Collaborate closely with the BIM Lead and design teams across both offices
  • Participate in design and coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Ensure models comply with company BIM standards and client requirements
  • Contribute to clash detection, model reviews, and data validation exercises
BIM Modeller - Requirements
  • Previous experience in a BIM or 3D modelling role within the construction or façade industry
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
  • Familiar with BIM Level 2 workflows and documentation (e.g. BEP, EIR, TIDP)
  • Understanding of building envelope systems including rainscreen cladding, flat roofing, and composite panels
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and team collaboration
  • Knowledge of ISO19650 standards is advantageous
  • HNC or equivalent qualification in a construction, design, or engineering discipline preferred
