Work independently, raising necessary queries and coordinating information with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors. Manage and work within design budgets. Report directly to the Head of Design. Attend project meetings and maintain a proactive role throughout the design process. Liaise with various departments to meet project demands. Contribute to training and mentoring graduate design engineers. Structural Design Engineer Job Requirements: A minimum of 10 years' experience in structural steelwork design, with in-depth knowledge of relevant design codes and software. Experienced in structural steel member and connection design, with expertise in using Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Portal Designer, and Masterseries software.
