Role Overview

You will play a key role delivering a wide range of transport planning projects for public and private sector clients across the UK, taking responsibility for both technical delivery and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Site appraisals and site promotion
  • Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
  • Travel Plans and sustainable mobility strategies
  • Junction and network modelling
  • Development planning and infrastructure planning
  • Data analysis, forecasting and reporting
  • Stakeholder engagement and client liaison
  • Day-to-day project management and prioritisation
  • Maintaining high technical standards across projects
  • Building and strengthening long-term client relationships
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Transport Planning at Senior / Principal / Associate level
  • Strong report writing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Confident user of ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, TEMPro and AutoCAD
  • Experience delivering development-led transport planning projects
  • Comfortable in a client-facing role with relationship management responsibility
  • Well motivated, proactive and commercially aware
  • Working towards or already chartered with CIHT, CILT or TPS (desirable)
