A growing accountancy and business advisory firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Audit Manager to join its audit team.
The role involves delivering high-quality audit services to a varied client portfolio, leading audit assignments and working closely with senior management.
You will supervise and develop junior staff, manage client relationships and ensure audits are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with professional standards.
Assistant Audit Manager Overview Leading audit fieldwork on-site and remotely across a varied client portfolio.
Reviewing financial statements, accounting records and audit documentation.
Identifying key audit risks and completing appropriate testing.
Handling complex audit areas and reviewing working papers.
Supervising, mentoring and developing audit seniors and junior staff.
Monitoring workloads, deadlines, budgets and team performance.
Ensuring audit files meet internal quality and regulatory standards.
Acting as a key client contact and managing expectations throughout assignments.
Assisting with audit reports, management letters and financial statements.
