Job Summary: The Commercial Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned service and maintenance tasks, reactive breakdowns, fault finding, and repairs on a range of commercial refrigeration systems, including display cabinets, bottle coolers, ice machines, CO2 packs, compressor packs and other F-Gas based equipment. This field-based, mobile role is based on a 45-hour week with door-to-door travel paid, 1-5 call-out rota, and plenty of overtime opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, reactive breakdowns, fault finding and repairs on various commercial refrigeration equipment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to cover PL, EX, BA & BH postcodes.
- Proven experience with service, maintenance, fault finding, breakdown, and repair of refrigeration systems, display cabinets, bottle coolers and ice machines.
- F-Gas ticket, and experience of CO2 packs advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic salary £46,000 – £51,500 (depending on experience)
- Door-to-door travel paid

- 1-5 call-out with £100 retainer
- Overtime rates 1.5x and 2x (plenty available)
