Diesel Fitter required for a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps. The successful candidate will dismantle, repair and fit on a range of Diesel Pumps, Gearboxes and Diesel Engines. Based within a commutable distance of Wokingham.
Location & Remuneration
- Location: Wokingham
- Rate: £18.55 per hour (£37,619 per annum)
- Salary: GBP18.55 - GBP18.55 per hour + 33 Days Holiday, inc BH
Responsibilities
- Split working between the company workshop and customer sites
- Dismantle, diagnose and fit on a range of Diesel Pumps and Engines
- Undertaking repair work in the company workshop on Pumps, Gearboxes and Engines
- Visiting customer sites across Manchester as and when required
- Attending callouts for breakdowns as per company rota
Qualifications & Requirements
- Apprentice trained in mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience in Diesel Fitting, ideally on Pumps or Engines
- Confident in your ability to strip, repair and fit mechanical components
- Previous experience as a diesel fitter for the marine sector would be a bonus
- Based within a commutable distance of Wokingham
- Full Driving licence – Non negotiable
