Test Engineer required for a switchgear provider based in Selby. Currently seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to join our team in a full-time on-site capacity. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing day to day product testing at our facility in Sherburn in Elmet (in between Leeds / York). The position requires strong electrical engineering expertise.
Hours: 07:30AM to 16:00PM - Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Low Voltage Switchgear and Low Voltage solutions
- Medium Voltage Switchgear and Medium Voltage solutions
- External purchased equipment
- Bespoke complete building services solutions
- Electrical Testing and Mechanical Inspections to given documentation to ensure the product is compliant, fully functional and GR quality approved
- Proven experience in Electrical Testing
- Ability to plan and execute projects from initiation to completion
- Proficient in electrical principles and practices
- Competence in reading, and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum ONC in Electrical Engineering or a related field
