Position: Site Supervisor

Location: London and surrounding areas (site based)

Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 plus van and Christmas bonus

If you started out on the tools in roofing and cladding and have since stepped up to run sites, this role is built around you. A well-established roofing and cladding specialist, trading for over 20 years, is growing quickly and needs a hands‑on Site Manager to take charge of its live projects across London and the surrounding areas. The business delivers single ply roofing, flat and felt roofing systems, rainscreen cladding and full building envelope packages across residential, commercial, infrastructure and public sector schemes. Single ply makes up the majority of the roofing workload. Projects typically run at £1 million to £2 million, and you will look after around two live sites at a time, with current work in Abingdon, Sutton and Chertsey and more coming through. This is not a desk‑based management role. You will be on site every day, leading the teams, keeping health and safety and QA records up to date, and dealing directly with clients. Site Supervisor Job Overview

• Oversee around two live roofing and cladding projects at any one time, typically £1 million to £2 million in value
• Attend site daily, leading and supporting site teams and subcontractors
• Monitor health and safety on site and keep all H&S records up to date
• Carry out quality checks and keep QA systems updated as works progress
• Make sure works are installed correctly and to specification, with a particular focus on single ply systems
• Build strong working relationships with clients, main contractors and site teams
• Act as a confident, professional point of contact for clients on site
• Keep site documentation, reports and records accurate and complete
• Flag issues early and take ownership of resolving them

Site Supervisor Requirements

• Roofing and cladding background is essential, ideally having progressed from the tools into a supervisory or site management role
• Hands‑on experience of single ply roofing is highly desirable
• Experience with felt, flat roofing and cementitious systems is advantageous
• SMSTS Gold or Black CSCS card
• Enough site management experience to hit the ground running without extensive training
• Strong people skills and confident dealing directly with clients
• Organised, reliable and committed to completing QA checks, H&S updates and paperwork properly
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with a willingness to get stuck in
• Full UK driving licence
