A Senior Interior Designer is required for a prestigious luxury interior design studio delivering high-end residential, hospitality and commercial projects throughout the UK and internationally. Job Overview
- Lead luxury interior design projects from initial concept through to final installation and completion.
- Develop creative design concepts, presentations, mood boards and client proposals.
- Produce detailed drawing packages including plans, elevations and technical design information using AutoCAD.
- Create visual presentations and renderings using Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp and hand sketching where appropriate.
- Manage complex FF&E budgets, procurement schedules, supplier coordination and project delivery.
- Oversee project programmes, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are achieved.
- Present design concepts confidently to clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior designers while providing creative leadership across project teams.
- Review bespoke furniture and joinery designs, including technical drawings and shop drawings.
- Coordinate suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and consultants throughout project delivery.
Job Requirements
- Degree qualified in Interior Design or a related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering high-end residential, hospitality or luxury commercial interior design projects.
- Strong understanding of FF&E procurement, supplier management and project budgeting.
- Excellent design, presentation and client-facing skills.
- Experience leading projects independently from concept through to completion.
- Strong technical knowledge of bespoke furniture, joinery and luxury interior detailing.
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Esti-PC and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience.
- Hybrid working arrangement with a 3:2 split between studio and home working.
