Project Manager (KW47241) Northampton, England
Our client is a leading provider of bespoke power generation and standby power solutions across the UK.
Due to winning a major new contract, they are looking to recruit a Project Manager with experience in the power generation or diesel generator (genset) industry.
This is a primarily office-based role in Northampton with occasional site visits, where business mileage is paid.
- Overview
- Manage generator installation projects from order through to completion
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, production and installation teams
- Act as the main point of contact for customers
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification
- Monitor project costs and progress
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and commissioning engineers
- Produce project documentation and reports
- Support commissioning and final project handover
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained
- Occasional UK site visits when required
Requirements
- Project Management experience within power generation or diesel generators
- Good knowledge of generator installations and standby power systems
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience managing project budgets and timelines
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience with Caterpillar, Cummins, Perkins, FG Wilson, MTU, Kohler or similar generators is advantageous
- Salary & Benefits
- £40,000 - £45,000 DOE (higher for the right candidate)
