A growing residential developer is looking to appoint an

Architectural Technician to join its expanding Technical team based near Wakefield.

Following a successful period of growth and a recent company rebrand, the business continues to invest heavily in its people and developments as it expands beyond Yorkshire into new regions.

This is an additional hire due to increased workload and offers the opportunity to join a young, ambitious team with genuine long-term career prospects.

Working within an established Technical department of eight people, you'll support the delivery of a growing portfolio of residential developments while working closely alongside an experienced Architect and senior technical professionals.

The company is looking for someone who enjoys producing high-quality technical drawings, wants to develop their career within a housebuilder, and is excited by the opportunity to grow alongside a business with ambitious expansion plans.

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and working drawing packages using Auto CAD.
  • Prepare technical layouts, construction details and drawing revisions for residential developments.
  • Support the Technical team throughout the planning and construction process.
  • Produce accurate working drawings in accordance with company standards and current Building Regulations.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external consultants to ensure coordinated technical information.
  • Assist with drawing amendments and issue updated information in line with programme requirements.
  • Support technical problem-solving throughout the construction process.
  • Contribute to the continued development of technical standards as the business grows.
  • Approximately

3-5 years' experience within a residential architectural or housebuilding environment.

  • Strong residential experience gained with either a housebuilder or architectural practice delivering housing developments.
  • Excellent Auto CAD skills are essential.
  • Revit knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong technical detailing and working drawing experience.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating within a wider Technical team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of UK Building Regulations.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Comfortable working in a fully office-based environment (Monday-Friday).
