An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced

Plant Service Manager to join a leading national plant hire company.

You'll manage a busy workshop, overseeing the servicing, maintenance and repair of a large fleet of construction plant while leading a team of around 25 engineers and workshop staff.

The Role

  • Manage the day-to-day running of a busy workshop.
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 25 engineers and service staff.
  • Ensure servicing, inspections, PDI's and repairs are completed to a high standard.
  • Maximise fleet availability through effective workshop planning.
  • Maintain high Health & Safety and compliance standards.
  • Monitor workshop performance, costs and engineer productivity.
  • Work closely with the Workshop Supervisor to prioritise workloads and improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Plant Service Manager, Workshop Manager or similar.
  • Strong background in plant hire, construction equipment or heavy plant.
  • Experience managing engineering teams.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Land Based Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills.

Package

  • Company electric vehicle.
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm.
  • Company pension.
