An exciting opportunity is available within an International Accountancy and Tax practice, for a Personal Tax Senior or Assistant Manager, to join their team. This is a crucial role to the practice, to service a diverse portfolio of clients providing personal tax compliance and advisory support to clients. This includes high net worth individuals, business owners, and athletes and entertainers.

In addition to compliance and advisory with the opportunity to assist with international tax planning in respect of moves to and from the UK, remote workers, dual/non-residents, and more. Personal Tax Senior Job Requirements
  • To look after your own portfolio of clients, be responsible for the compliance and advisory work in respect of those clients and ensure all deadlines are met and work performed accurately.
  • Be able to conduct client meetings and new enquiries, whilst training junior members of the team.
  • Completing 1st review of Tax Returns and reviewing other work carried out by junior members of staff.
  • Delegating effectively across the team.
  • Performing necessary tax research to support/understand tax positions and providing detailed analysis to clients.
  • Proactively identifying planning opportunities and advisory work to enhance your range of knowledge/specialisms.
  • Reviewing and delivering fee quotes for work identified/requested and working towards own invoicing targets.
  • Developing relationships with overseas advisers/network partners to coordinate excellent client service.
  • Attend external conferences/events, build a strong professional network.
  • Assisting with proposals, events, marketing as and when required.
  • Prepare monthly fees work towards own billing targets.
  • To mentor Tax Adviser and Tax Seniors.
  • To assist with any other administrative and/or client work as and when required.
Personal Tax Senior Job Requirements
  • Should be ATT or CTA qualified. Part qualified or qualified by experience can be considered.
  • A minimum of 3 years tax specific experience within accountancy practice.
  • Should have an excellent understanding of client management and relations, and personal tax responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
