Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well‑established and growing manufacturer of special purpose machinery based in the Poole area. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team.
Position Overview
- Producing production and assembly drawings with Solidworks of jigs, frames and full bespoke machines.
- Collaborating with the design team on new projects and designs.
- Producing 2D technical drawings.
- Producing Bill of Materials.
- Updating and maintaining the product data management software.
Position Requirements
- 3+ years of experience within a Design Engineering role.
- HNC or above in a Mechanical / Design related field.
- Experience within a special purpose machinery or automation related field.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Solidworks or similar.
- Full UK Driving License.
