I am representing a well‑established Marine engineering company known for its high standards in servicing, diagnostics, and repairs. Due to continued growth and a strong reputation within the leisure and commercial marine industry, they are seeking an experienced Marine Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with inboard engines, diagnostic systems, and general boat maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward‑thinking business that values technical expertise, teamwork, and a passion for the marine environment.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day service and maintenance of a range of vessels
- Fault finding, diagnosis and rectification work on inboard engine / propulsion systems
- Ordering and fitting of replacement parts
- Working in a customer‑facing capacity
- Undertaking at sea tests on repaired vessels
- Previous hands‑on experience with Volvo – Penta engines
- Previous experience working on maritime vessels
- Mechanically biased skillset including fault finding, diagnosis, PPMs and breakdowns
- Experienced working on inboard maritime engines
- Based within a commutable distance of Maidenhead
Salary & Benefits:
- Company bonus
- 28 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
- Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
