Junior Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in the Leicester area, who due to ongoing success are seeking an enthusiastic Design Engineer to join their CAD team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings with the use of Solidworks & AutoCAD.
  • Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings including manufacturing, layout and DG&T drawings.
  • Converting sketches and project instructions into 3D CAD models.
  • Producing Bill of Materials.
  • Supporting production teams with drawing updates and certification.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Design related subject.
  • Proficient with 3D modelling software, ideally Solidworks.
  • Experience / knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable.
  • Based in a commutable distance of Leicester.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00 – 17:00, Friday 08:00 – 13:00. Holiday allowance and pension.
