My client is a leading supplier and maintainer of diesel equipment across Scotland. We are looking to bring on a Workshop Supervisor to look after the Inverness site and assist with the day-to-day running of the hire desk. The ideal candidate will have a supervisor / team leader background with first-hand knowledge and understanding of diesel generators and pumps.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day running of the Inverness site
- Assist customers with rental equipment issues and concerns
- Liaise with company sales team and operational management
- Work closely with the depot manager to respond to problems
- Organise workload for Service Engineers
- Keep a record of all maintenance reports on site
- Work in the field to assist with engineering requirements
- Ensure all equipment prepared for rental meets company standards
- Report daily events at the depot to the area manager
- Ensure employees adhere to RAMS and ACE
- Keep a record of all transport records, including repair costs of vehicles
Qualifications
- Previous experience with diesel generators, pumps and engines
- Experience overseeing a maintenance or manufacturing team
- Familiarity with RAMS and health and safety standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Inverness
Benefits
