We currently have an opportunity available to join a specialist manufacturer within the water sector, who offer full design, installation, and maintenance solutions to clients across the UK.

Technical Sales Engineer Job Overview

  • Receiving customer enquiries and converting these into specifications and quotes that are suitable to the client’s needs
  • Completing full quotations and chasing these with clients
  • Recording sales orders with the relevant internal teams
  • Raising purchase orders and invoices
  • Following up with clients after successful sales to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Participating in an out of hours rota occasionally for technical support

Technical Sales Engineer Job Requirements

  • Sales and/or administration background within the engineering sector
  • Any experience within the water sector such as pumps, plumbing, drainage, or heating is highly desirable
  • Ideally holding a Mechanical or Electrical degree
  • Based within a commutable distance of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
  • Strong I.T competency, including Microsoft Office, with any experience using a CRM system desirable

Technical Sales Engineer Salary & Benefits

  • Basic salary between £33,000 and £38,000, depending on experience
  • Bonus ranging from £2,000 to £4,000, based on performance
