AC and Refrigeration Service Manager is required in Hampshire for our client, a specialist who carries out servicing, repairs and project works. This position involves overseeing service operations, managing technical teams and ensuring all maintenance and troubleshooting tasks for commercial refrigeration / air conditioning systems are completed efficiently. The role demands coordination with clients and suppliers, route planning and strict adherence to health and safety regulations. The Service Manager is expected to come from a technical background within the AC and Refrigeration industry and hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. This role will predominantly be office based, with occasional client visits.
Job Overview:
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services for commercial refrigeration systems.
- Manage teams of field engineers, ensuring timely response and high-quality service delivery.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and maintenance schedules.
- Quoting for new works / maintenance contracts.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and enforce health and safety compliance.
- Liaise with clients to provide technical solutions, update on service progress, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant UK industry qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
- Proven hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning (ideally 10+ years on the tools).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical knowledge of refrigeration systems and electrical components.
- Full UK driving licence.
