Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer required for our client in Gloucester, a specialist in HVAC and building services. This role involves diagnosing, installing, maintaining and repairing complex air conditioning and refrigeration systems in commercial settings, such as offices, schools and government buildings. The client will consider a range of experiences, including both air conditioning and refrigeration experience, although it would be highly advantageous to have worked on both. The client are looking for both an engineer and a lead/senior engineer. The senior engineer will be expected to mentor and provide technical advice to other engineers within the department.

Job Overview

  • Install, commission and troubleshoot air conditioning systems, including VRF, split systems and or commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Covering Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant UK qualifications such as City & Guilds in Air Conditioning or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5+ years) working within air conditioning and or commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
  • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Call out rota 1 in 6 weeks.
  • Standard working hours Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Plus overtime.
  • Life insurance.
  • Van, phone and specialist tools provided.
