Our client, a well-established, award-winning architectural practice with multiple offices, is seeking a talented Project Architect to join their expanding team. The successful Project Architect will be working collaboratively with the Glasgow office. Architects based in Edinburgh are also encouraged to apply due to multiple sites and projects being based here.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Project Architect who enjoys putting buildings together and has strong experience across all RIBA Stages and with technical delivery skills. You’ll initially be focused on high-quality residential projects but will also have the chance to work across a diverse portfolio, including bespoke residential, commercial offices, refurbishments, new builds, defence, and MOD projects, with values ranging from £5m to £30m, and larger developments up to £120m+.

Project Architect Job Overview

  • Lead projects through RIBA stages 1–6, with a focus on technical delivery stages
  • Produce high-quality technical drawings and models using Revit on a daily basis
  • Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, maintaining strong communication and design intent throughout project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, with potential to mentor and lead junior staff
  • Contribute to projects across residential (flats and bespoke housing), commercial, education, and defence sectors

Project Architect Job Requirements

  • ARB-registered Architect
  • Experience across all RIBA Stages
  • Experience in Revit is highly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently and in collaboration with a team
  • Experience working on medium to large scale projects is preferential
  • Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills
  • Live in or around Glasgow or Edinburgh
