We are seeking an experienced Gear Grinder to join its manufacturing team. This hands‑on role involves operating and setting gear grinding machinery to produce precision‑engineered components to exact specifications and high‑quality standards.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a gear grinding environment and be confident working from engineering drawings while maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout the production process. Job Overview
  • Set and operate gear grinding machinery
  • Manufacture precision components to engineering specifications
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical information
  • Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met
  • Monitor machine performance and report any issues
  • Maintain accurate production records where required
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Work efficiently to production targets and deadlines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Follow company health & safety and quality procedures at all times
  • Work independently and as part of the wider production team
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Gear Grinder is essential
  • Strong understanding of precision engineering and manufacturing processes

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good problem‑solving and practical engineering skills
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
