Bennett & Game are delighted to represent a well-established, reputable Architectural Practice based in Epsom who are currently seeking an ambitious Project Architect to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role within an established and growing practice, working across a diverse portfolio of projects and contributing to the continued success of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and commercially aware Architect to make a lasting impact within an already successful Architectural Practice. Our client has been established for over 40 years, building and maintaining excellent relationships with their clients, resulting in around 80% of projects coming from repeat business. They work across a variety of sectors, primarily covering Commercial, Science, Leisure, Healthcare and Education projects. They have a strong passion and drive for delivering high-quality and sustainable designs. Projects typically range up to around £10m in value.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team environment where individuals work across multiple live projects simultaneously. This role has arisen due to continued project growth and an increasing workload across the practice.

Project Architect Job Overview
  • Lead projects across a variety of sectors from inception through to completion
  • Manage project programmes, design coordination, and technical delivery
  • Prepare and develop planning, technical, and construction drawing packages
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams throughout all RIBA stages
  • Produce and manage coordinated BIM models using Revit across varying project stages and complexity levels
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and design team meetings
  • Work closely with senior management to help maintain and develop client relationships
  • Support and mentor junior team members where required
  • Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the practice
Project Architect Job Requirements
  • Qualified Architect
  • Live within a commutable distance of Epsom
  • Strong experience delivering projects across all RIBA work stages
  • Excellent technical detailing and project delivery skills
  • Strong client-facing and project-running experience
  • Advanced Revit and BIM knowledge with experience producing coordinated BIM models
  • Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage workload independently and work collaboratively within a team
  • Commercial awareness with a proactive and professional approach
  • Experience working on Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Science or Leisure projects would be advantageous
