Responsibilities
The Air Conditioning Engineer will be an all‑rounder, responsible for reactive and planned service and maintenance across both domestic and commercial sites, including large domestic housing estates and commercial sites such as offices, schools, and hotels.
Tasks include service, maintenance, breakdown and fault‑finding on a wide range of air‑conditioning equipment, such as VRV, VRF, splits and multisplits, as well as small installations.
The role offers no mandatory call‑out rota or extensive overtime, making it suitable for a time‑served engineer seeking work‑life balance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and installation on a range of air‑conditioning equipment.
- Proven experience within the HVAC industry with recognised qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning, City and Guilds equivalent, and F‑Gas 2079 or Safe Handling of Refrigerants.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Based within commutable distance of Guildford (approximately 45 minutes).
