Overview
- Service, repair and maintain heavy plant, machinery and small tools
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose faults, source parts and complete effective repairs
- Work independently or within a team
- Complete all maintenance paperwork accurately
- Follow all health & safety procedures and challenge unsafe practices
- Support general workshop tasks and maintain a clean work area
Requirements
- Heavy plant experience (mechanical, electrical & hydraulic)
- Mig welding/fabrication ability
- Strong communication & teamwork
- Self-motivated with good attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS Card
- City & Guilds (Levels 1–3)
- Experience with cranes or white‑lining equipment
Salary & Benefits
- £24.40 per hour
- Monday - Friday 45 hour weekly rotating shifts: Week 1: 06:00–16:00, Week 2: 07:00–17:00
- Travel to other sites as required
