Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview
- Designing bespoke equipment with the use of Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks
- Producing 3D CAD models, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings
- Developing new concepts and practical engineering solutions for bespoke customer applications
- Carrying out hands‑on testing of equipment, and creating technical manuals
- Supporting projects throughout the design lifecycle, from initial concept and development through to manufacture and assembly
- Producing and maintaining Bills of Materials
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
- Around 2+ years' experience within mechanical design would be highly advantageous, although graduate and less experienced candidates will also be considered
- Experience using Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
- Degree, HNC, HND or similar qualification within Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous
- Based within a commutable distance of Congleton

- Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Full-time, permanent position
