A well-established precision engineering business is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join its growing team. This hands-on role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (3–4 axis) to produce high-quality components across sectors such as motorsport, aerospace, and medical engineering. Job Overview

  • Program, set, and operate CNC 3–4 axis milling machines
  • Work with Haas CNC machinery
  • Use CAD/CAM software such as OneCNC and/or HyperMILL (experience beneficial, not essential)
  • Work from technical engineering drawings to produce precision components
  • Ensure consistent quality across all manufactured parts
  • Meet production deadlines and internal milestones
  • Maintain a proactive, hands-on approach within a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate effectively within the team to support production goals

Requirements

  • Proven experience in CNC milling (3–4 axis essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
  • CAD/CAM experience is essential
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Experience using CMMs advantageous
  • Computer literate
  • Team player with a proactive and flexible approach

Hours of Work

39-hour working week. Overtime available at 1.5x rate (expected throughout the year).
