This hands-on role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (3–4 axis) to produce high-quality components across sectors such as motorsport, aerospace, and medical engineering. Job Overview
- Program, set, and operate CNC 3–4 axis milling machines
- Work with Haas CNC machinery
- Use CAD/CAM software such as OneCNC and/or HyperMILL (experience beneficial, not essential)
- Work from technical engineering drawings to produce precision components
- Ensure consistent quality across all manufactured parts
- Meet production deadlines and internal milestones
- Maintain a proactive, hands-on approach within a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate effectively within the team to support production goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in CNC milling (3–4 axis essential)
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
- CAD/CAM experience is essential
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Experience using CMMs advantageous
- Computer literate
- Team player with a proactive and flexible approach
Hours of Work
39-hour working week. Overtime available at 1.5x rate (expected throughout the year).
