- To use a range of software to develop detailed structural designs as well as hand calculations.
- Undertaking of technical and feasibility studies including organising site investigations.
- Manage and oversee a variety of projects from feasibility through to completion, including site inspections and reporting.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design professionals to ensure successful projects
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. CDM 2015, planning approvals, listed buildings)
- Monitor budgets, resources, and contractor performance to meet project deadlines and standards.
- Support business development by promoting the consultancy’s services and maintaining strong client relationships.
Senior Structural Engineer Salary & Benefits
