Senior Architectural Technician

Bennett and Game are currently assisting a well-established, Revit using architectural practice based in Newcastle, with their search for a Senior Architectural Technician. Since establishing over 60 years ago, our client has developed a specialist team of Architects, Designers and Technologists, who prioritise the creative re-use of buildings as well as a focus on Sustainability. Our client are offering extensive progression, the opportunity to widen your portfolio, a salary ranging up to £55,000, plus 3 days hybrid working, holiday that accrues with service and a discretionary bonus scheme.

The successful Senior Architectural Technician will initially be working within the Education and Retail team, assisting with the technical stages of a project, with potential to take a project through from inception to completion in the future. Project values typically range between £20 million up to £40 million. Good knowledge of Revit is essential for this role.

Senior Architectural Technician Job Overview

• Working across a variety of sectors, including large scale Education and Retail projects
• Opportunity to manage your own workload and run a projects
• Producing high-quality technical drawings using Revit on a daily basis
• Assisting with projects through from RIBA stages 4-7, with the opportunity to work across all stages
• Provide technical advice for user/site specifications when required to do so
• Liaising with clients, other professionals and the wider team on a daily basis

Senior Architectural Technician Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
• Based within a commutable distance of Newcastle Upon Tyne
• Proficiency working with Revit
• Prior experience within the Education or Retail sector advantageous
• Extensive experience working on RIBA stage 4-5
