The practice delivers a broad range of building surveying and project management services across the residential and commercial sectors, working on projects ranging from historic buildings and heritage properties through to modern developments.

Job Overview
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of professional and project-led building surveying services across residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will manage projects from inception through to completion while supporting client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the consultancy.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting condition surveys, measured surveys and defect analysis
- Preparing specifications, schedules of work, reports and tender documentation
- Contract administration and project management duties
- Managing refurbishment, restoration and maintenance projects
- Liaising with clients, contractors and local authorities
- Advising on compliance, building regulations and construction-related matters
- Supporting business development and generating new opportunities
- Mentoring junior staff and working collaboratively within the wider team
Job Requirements
- MRICS or AssocRICS preferred
- Minimum 3 years' PQE preferred
- Consultancy experience within building surveying
- Strong knowledge of building pathology and construction technology
- Experience across residential and commercial sectors
- Good understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
