The successful candidate will join our skilled team responsible for the finishing, patination, and wiring of our lighting collection, delivering work to the high standards our brand is known for.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out the chemical patination and finishing of metal components, including painting, gilding, hand‑colouring, polishing, and assembling designs.
- Manage workload efficiently in line with workshop schedule, ensuring deadlines are met and update manager when tasks are completed.
- Report problems promptly to manager, taking steps to mitigate or resolve issues to maintain client satisfaction.
- Ensure all orders are completed accurately and to workshop targets.
- Label finished items clearly with correct order numbers.
- Work closely with the Head of the Lighting Workshop to maintain tidy, organised and safe storage for components and materials.
- Follow all electrification procedures precisely.
- Maintain all tools and machinery, ensuring regular cleaning, care and safe storage when not in use.
- Prepare, store and dispose of chemicals safely in accordance with safety regulations.
Benefits:
- Bonus scheme (likely 5% throughout the year; paid in July and December).
- Flexible hours 08:00‑16:00 Monday‑Friday (37.5 hours).
- Overtime available at 1.5× rate.
