Training and HS Manager Job Overview
To provide training both practical and theoretical to employees on a global scale. To support the Head of QHSE with the ongoing H&S requirements of the global business.
Key responsibilities:
- Generate monthly reports relating to staff records
- Negotiate and purchase externally sourced requirements
- Oversight of Apprenticeship programme
- Conducting H&S audits and generation of reports and actions
- Administration of ELMS training software system
- Delivery of practical training of MEWP\’s
- Management of the Organisation\’s system of Risk Assessments / COSHH
- Management of the H&S reporting system
- Training and education of employees using lifting equipment
- Provision of Technical Induction
- Assisting Line Managers complete Risk Assessments
- Chairing H&S meetings on a global scheme
- Ongoing assessment of ISO14001 & 45001 Accreditations
- This role will involve travel circa 4x per year to America and Spain
Training and HS Manager Job Requirements
- Train the Trainer trained
- IPAF trained (vertical & boom type lift)
- B1/B2 counterbalance truck
- NeBOSH National Certificate
- Knowledge of ISO14001 / 45001
- Overhead gantry trained
- Technical knowledge and aviation experience or engineering environment
- Eligible to qualify for and hold UK airside security pass, as per DfT regulations
- Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) etc.
