The MIG Welder / Fabricator position is required in Dinnington, Sheffield for our client, a small manufacturing and fabrication business.

This is an opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Welder / Fabricator to join a small team of around 9 employees. The role will involve MIG welding, fabrication, bending and jigging, working primarily with plate between 2mm and 20mm thick.

  • Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator
  • Strong MIG welding experience

  • Previous experience with fabrication, bending and jigging
  • A practical, hands-on approach to fabrication work
  • Able to work effectively within a small team

MIG Welder / Fabricator Salary & Benefits

  • Circa £16.00 per hour
  • 36-hour working week
  • Monday to Thursday: 7 hours 15 minutes per day
  • Friday: 7 hours
  • Overtime paid at 1.42 times the normal hourly rate
  • Permanent, site-based position

Please note: The client is currently only looking to consider one graduate-level candidate initially, with this being reviewed following interview. The primary requirement is for an experienced, traditional/"old school" Welder / Fabricator with strong practical MIG welding and fabrication skills.
