Salary: Circa £35,000-£42,000, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
An established and growing independent accountancy practice is looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to join its friendly and professional team.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for accounts preparation, taxation and general accounting duties. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider team and have regular client contact, providing a high-quality and personable service.
The role would suit an Accountant with previous practice experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and growing firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of statutory and year-end accounts for a range of clients.
* Preparation of management accounts and financial information where required.
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
* Assisting with personal and corporation tax returns.
* Maintaining accurate accounting records and completing bookkeeping duties.
* Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
* Providing general accounting and tax support to clients.
