Our client, a long-established and reputable Mechanical & HVAC Contractor with over 30 years of industry experience, is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their expanding HVAC Services Team. Operating across London and the Home Counties, the company provides installation, maintenance, and repair services to a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.
The Commercial Gas Engineer will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of commercial plant room appliances from gas boilers to associated mechanical equipment, undertaking both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair work. Additionally, from time to time, boiler swaps/installs will be required.
The ideal candidate will hold valid ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications and have at least five years' experience working on commercial heating systems.
- Minimum five years' experience in the field as Commercial/Combustion Gas Engineer.
- Valid Commercial Gas Tickets.
- Previous experience on steam, oil, and LPG is beneficial.
- A time-served apprenticeship is beneficial.
- UK Driving licence.
- Ideally based inside the M25.
Remuneration:
- Basic Salary £52,000 - £60,000 DOE.
- 40-hour week.
- Company Van with personal use with prior agreement.
- 25 days Holiday plus bank holidays.
- 1-8 call out with £150 retainer, 4 hours minimum OT.
- Phone, PDA and specialist tools provided. Further package details to be discussed at interview.
