Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently representing an established Plant and Tool company that are currently looking for a Workshop Engineer in Bedford. The ideal candidate will come from a strong engineering background, will ideally have experience with powered Access, power tools or site electrical equipment and will based within a commutable distance of Bedford

Workshop Engineer Position Overview

  • Cleaning and maintaining a range of equipment
  • Inspecting and testing returning Hire equipment
  • Pat testing
  • Undertaking repairs and planned maintenance on all company equipment including but not limited to; powered access, cutting, woodworking, site electrical, drilling & concreting
  • Supporting the warehouse, workshop and driving teams as required

Workshop Engineer Position Requirements

  • Previous experience maintaining and repairing a mix of industrial equipment and tools
  • A proficiency in Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering
  • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Any previous experience on Powered Access equipment, Power Tools or Site equipment would be highly beneficial
  • Based within a commutable distance of Bedford

Workshop Engineer Position Benefits

  • Salary Β£32,000 – Β£36,000 DOE
  • Monday – Friday 06:00 – 16:00 / 07:30 – 17:30
  • Overtime available
