Tractor Driver / Excavator Driver / Heavy Plant Machinery Operator required for our client, a specialist contracting business that operates within the construction and maintenance of sports surfaces. They have a yard in Chichester, West Sussex, and most sites are within the Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Kent & London Boroughs regions.
It is expected that the Tractor Driver / Excavator Driver / Heavy Plant Machinery Operator will have experience operating a wide range of sports turf and agricultural machinery such as scarifiers, aerators, top dressers, fertiliser spreaders, mowers, and trailers, and have used a range of manufacturers including Toro, John Deere, New Holland, Kubota, and JCB.
Job Overview:
- Cultivating sports turf surfaces
- Operate 360 excavator (2t - 21t)
- Carry out sports turf maintenance operations
- Daily thorough machinery maintenance
- Operating telehandlers
- Practical, ideally with good workshop skills, able to repair simple faults & maintain machinery
Job Requirements:
- Experience on agricultural machinery, sports turf equipment, heavy plant.
- Full UK driving licence and machine tickets
- Willingness to travel daily, work away and complete overtime in busy periods

Salary & Benefits:
- Basic Salary of £30,000 - £33,000
