CNC Turner Job Overview
- Set, operate, and programme CNC Turning and Mill-Turn machines to produce high-quality components as detailed in works order documentation.
- Collaborate with supervisors and production colleagues to meet agreed manufacturing timescales.
- Perform any additional reasonable duties requested by the company.
- Adhere to and enforce all Health & Safety legislation and company safety standards.
- Comply with all required security standards mandated by the company and its customers.
- Complete all required production, quality, and administrative paperwork.
CNC Turner Job Requirements
- Proficient in setting, operating, and programming CNC Turning and multi-axis machinery.
- Strong understanding of fixtures, speeds and feeds, tooling, safety practices, and machine control systems.
- Experience with FANUC, Okuma QSP-200L, ISO, and/or Mazatrol programming (preferred).
- Experience with live tooling operations.
- Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles.
- CMM inspection and measurement experience is advantageous.
- Advanced CAD/CAM knowledge, ideally SolidWorks and hyperMill.
Salary & Benefits
- Permanent position
- Salary: Β£35,000 to Β£43,000 (DOE)
- Monday to Friday - 6am to 2pm - 37.5 hour week
