Position: Static M&E Engineer

Our client is a major service provider in London with over 50 years of success and continued growth. Due to recent success, they are seeking a Static M&E Engineer to join their ever expanding District Heating Division. This division operates across London, managing a range of blue-chip portfolios.
The work is a mixture of planned maintenance and repair works as well as reactive works from our call-out service. You will be working across the Canary Wharf Complex.
Working across a wide range of mechanical and electrical assets, the Static M&E Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and optimising building systems to ensure efficient operation. Mechanical duties include AHUs, HIUs, pumps, inverters, cooling towers, adiabatic coolers, and pipework, requiring a solid working knowledge of all M&E and HVAC systems. Electrical duties involve BMS monitoring, meter checks, fault finding.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Mechanical & Electrical engineering within the building services sector
- Hold 18th edition
- Have Mechanical qualifications
- Strong understanding of HVAC, Plant rooms and Commercial Electrical systems
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
- 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
- 23 days plus bank rising with service
- 5-2x overtime rates - engineers often 10-15k additional per annum
- 1-8 call out rota - looking to grow to 1-10
